these are pictures of what i saw today while exploring.

the weather was behaving so well today hence the adventure despite the (very) cold

anyway, this is the field which i have to cross each time if i were to walk to uni but i don't! cause i have a bicycle.... very unglam, cycle with bagpack and all -_-

uni is about 20-25 minute walk away. crossing this field and out of the The Maples(name of estate) makes up only 1/3 of the distance.

caught some stones in my hair if you look close enough. like really close.

not a very smart thing to do- wearing sheer stockings to venture out into the cold like in picture
leather boots alone don't shield you from the cold, i now know.

year 2009

i still remember doing a post for 2008 while i was in london at xr's broby toh.

another 365 days in the calendar have come and gone. this year i'll be spending my new year's eve a little differently, in italy with a bunch of my uni mates.

i still wish i could usher in the new year the way we did before, going to the curve and watch fireworks. and then go home wtf. but everything is different now.

this time around, i have an addition of someone special to the list of who i wanna spend my new year's eve with however impossible this wish is geographically.

maybe next year.

am gonna leave to Italy for 11 days from new year's eve onwards. so many stops(i.e Rome, Florence, Milan, Bologna, Venice, etc) so little time!

not as excited about this trip because it's um, mid season of winter T_T self-explanatory. and 8 stops in 11 days.. seriously?? we'll see if i survive.
previously, i was learning some french before i went to paris. it's time for italian now. ciao!

they were at a backstreet's boys concert! hahahaha

can't overemphasize how fickled and terrible the weather is over here especially when it becomes all wet n cold resulting from the pouring rain. that night (friday the 13th no less) was a disaster, up until when the concert started that is. hehe.

i don't know why it's so blue? grabbed some hot dogs(from that lighted stall on the right! haha) and some vodka ice before going into the concert area.i know right, buying alcohol in a stadium for a concert? probably an impossible event back home -_-
